Forest Bathing in Hebden Bridge
Golden Hour Forest Bathing & Herbal Tea at Hardcastle Craggs
Step into the woods, slow down, and rediscover the magic of nature.
Wild Heather Wellness offers monthly forest bathing (forest therapy) sessions in Hebden Bridge, and private sessions across Manchester and West Yorkshire, helping you reconnect with yourself through the healing power of the natural world.
What Is Forest Therapy?
While many wellbeing practices invite you to turn your attention inwards, forest therapy encourages you to gently reconnect with the world around you. Also known as Shinrin-Yoku or forest bathing, forest therapy is a guided experience that combines mindful walking, sensory awareness, and exploratory invitations; to experience it’s the therapeutic benefits of nature.
Rooted In Human-Nature Connection
Forest bathing is less about doing and more about being. This experience invites you to slow your pace, awaken your senses, and rediscover your connection to the natural world, in a way that feels effortless, grounding, and deeply nourishing.
-
Through gentle guidance, you’ll be offered simple invitations to notice, feel, and connect with your surroundings. No agenda, no thinking, no forcing - just bathing the senses and seeing what surfaces.
-
Led by Heather from Wild Heather Wellness, a CMA-accredited Forest Therapy Practitioner, each session is a carefully held, restorative experience.
Your session will include:
A gentle, mindful walk
Seasonal nature insights
A guided sensory meditation
Exploratory forest bathing invitations
Time for rest, reflection, and sharing
To close, you’ll be invited to enjoy:
Herbal tea
Guided journaling prompts
An optional sharing circle
You’ll leave feeling grounded, calm, and more connected, to both nature and yourself. -
